Terre des Hommes tries, through each of its productions, to remain faithful to this idea of Art. We believed that the noble objects of this reflection are beauty and singularity. We believed that it was enough to guide us, or guide anyone, in any anthology and inspiring enough to create another, though not in our immediate objectives. We know that we have, against us, the exaltation of belonging that would so categorize men, the will power that pulls the works to mathematics, the demagoguery always ready to excite the passions and leveling down, the fear that under any alibi justifies cowardice, and finally the representation of all these faults in ourselves.
